Your records live on your devices
Boblo saves changes as you make them. The desktop and phone apps keep their records in their own data folders. The desktop app also keeps readable card copies and daily snapshots for 30 days.
The browser version stores records in that browser on that computer, with browser storage limits. Export backups from the desktop app; phone backup export is not available in 0.16.4.
Sync is end-to-end encrypted
Sync encrypts your records before they leave your devices. The relay holds encrypted data it cannot read. Connect your other devices using your recovery phrase.
You can revoke connectors and lock out other devices from Boblo. Keep the recovery phrase somewhere safe; it is how you connect a new device to your records.
Sealed sections keep sensitive words separate
A note can hold a sealed section for sensitive text. It is encrypted on your device before being saved. Its unsealed words remain a useful note you can link and put on a shelf.
Sealed text is excluded from search and AI reads. Unlock it in Boblo when you need it. Ordinary card text is not a sealed section: an authorized assistant can read it.
AI access is a choice with real scope
A connected assistant can read and change the records its Boblo tools expose. The hosted connector opens records in memory to answer that assistant, and forgets them after 30 minutes of inactivity. Each connector has its own revocable key.
On-device Smart Find keeps its work local. Optional cloud search sends matching card details, or the words of all commitments, touches, and notes for Dig deep, to your chosen provider. Sealed sections are never included.
This website and the early-access waitlist
The public website explains Boblo. It does not publish your app records. Search engines and AI crawlers can read these product pages without access to a private weave.
The early-access form stores your email address, signup time, referring page, and country in the website's database so Scott can contact you about access. This site does not add advertising trackers or third-party analytics. It loads its typeface from Google Fonts.
